Completing planned maintenance of your electrical systems is vital to reduce the chances of breakdowns, spot any potential issues, maintain compliance and electrical safety. We can offer various different options to help you maintain your electrical systems:

1. Panel maintenance – We can carry out full panel maintenance including hoovering and cleaning, thermography (infra red camera), replacing filters, replacing trunking lids, tidying cabling and carrying out a thorough visual inspection of the panel.
2. Distribution board maintenance – We can carry out distribution board maintenance to include hoovering and cleaning, thermography, ensuring all covers are correctly in place, maintaining and updating legends.
3. Motor & cable testing – We can test your cabling and motors including balance resistance, insulation resistance, thermography and vibration testing. This testing can be completed regularly over a period of time to look for any gradual deterioration to predict breakdowns before they happen.
4. Fixed wiring testing and inspection – We can carry out your fixed wiring testing and inspections. We can complete this as a single job or as a percentage every year to maintain the 100% over a 5 year period. Please see our Fixed Wiring page for more information.
5. Safety Circuit Testing – Safety circuits should be tested periodically to ensure they are operating as they are designed to. We are able to carry out all of your safety circuit testing. We can do this to meet your periodic requirements or develop our own testing regime for your site. We can also complete all remedial work on your safety circuits.
6. Emergency lighting testing – We can complete your monthly and annual extended emergency lighting testing, complete all and any remedial works on the emergency lighting circuit arising from the testing.

8. PAT – We can complete all of your Portable Appliance Testing to ensure you are maintaining your portable appliance safety and also compliance.
9. Software and parameter backups and storage – We can regularly back up your PLC and/or SCADA software and inverter parameters. We can also store the backups securely away from your site.

We can offer an annual contract for all of the above work with a simple, single monthly payment incorporating and mix and match of the items you would like from the above list – if there is anything not on the above list you would like us to price for please ask. A monthly contract to complete these maintenance plans can be an easier way to budget for this work, show compliance with the various standards and agencies that you are maintaining your equipment correctly and also allows for work to be planned over a yearly period. We also don’t charge any extra for a monthly payment than we do for a single payment. You give us an annual PO and we will invoice you on a preset day every month.

A maintenance contract also provides other additional benefits:

1. Priority call outs for breakdowns – We give priority to our maintenance contracted sites for breakdowns in the event we get a couple of jobs come in at the same time. We would never leave a customers site or cancel when on route to a non maintenance contract customer.
2. Preferential rates for breakdowns and project works – We give our maintenance contract customers preferential hourly rates for breakdowns or quoted works.
