Frequency Inverters

Motor Speed Control

If you have motors on your site chances are you have one or more frequency inverters. These devices can control the ramp up / ramp down (acceleration/deceleration) speed, running speed, current along with many more parameters to help you control a motor. These inverters can be stand alone, controlled by hard wired inputs from a PLC or other device or connected to various bus systems giving the PLC or SCADA full control of the motor at all times.

Frequency inverters allow a control system to control the start up and slow down times of a motor which can be very important in large dryer or fan motors which can have start up or slow down times in the minutes, they can control the speed of a pump to keep a process variable such as flow or level within a tolerance or speed up and slow down a conveyor depending on the flow rate needed for the process and can reduce energy costs buy running a motor at a below full load when its not required along with countless other applications.

We are able to fault find on your inverter systems, backup parameter sets, replace failed inverters or we can add new inverters to an existing motor to improve your control and reduce energy usage. With experience working on inverters controlling motors lifting 100T on cranes to small 0.11kw pump motors dosing chemicals into a process and everything in between we have the experience to work on your motor control systems. We can design, build and install new inverter panels and integrate into your existing control system or integrate a new inverter or update an old inverter into an existing panel.
